Our education

Good Samaritan College is an accredited, ungraded secondary school which caters for young people aged 12-18 years at enrolment. 

The curriculum is categorised into two key areas

Literacy and Numeracy: Young people will be enrolled in Certificate courses I and/or II in the areas Literacy and Numeracy; these focus on functional skills in these subjects. These courses will be taught by staff at the College and assessed by staff of registered training organisations.

Certificate courses

Young people will be enrolled in one of the following three courses

• Certificate I in Access to Vocational Pathways;
• Certificate II in Automotive; or
• A Certificate II in Music through the Queensland College of Music.

These courses will be taught by staff at the College and assessed by staff of registered training organisations.
